1998 – MAVRO starts
Michael Mavromatis and Guido Guido Van Der Borgh open the first offices of MAVRO in Zaltbommel and Antwerp. The company derived from Fosroc and HIM Chemie, and starts with the supply of construction chemicals. Think of synthetic floor systems, coatings and mortars. This is where our name comes from: Materials for Renovation and Maintenance.
